Actually...I'm not sure whether I should be putting this under my recs tab...well, I do recommend it...for people who don't mind the BL genre. It's actually one of the lightest I've read or heard of, making it a pretty good entry point for new readers.

How about going out with me, Seryou?
On Monday morning, third year Shino Yuzuru asks Seryou Touji out on a lark when he meets him at the school gate. The rumour runs that the popular first year will go out with the first person who asks him out on Monday, regardless of who it is, only to break up with them at the end of the week.
A boyfriend for a week...but it's nothing more than a joke...right?
What can I say? I first came across this series about 2 weeks ago, read it in one day, and less than a week later, had my hands on hardcopies courtesy of Yahoo Auctions. Have held off on the drama cds so far...but they're really tempting! That's how much I liked it - and I think I've read and listened to it about 10 times over already.
Seven Days may be incredibly light BL, but it's all that much better for it. Whilst it is unbelievable that high schoolers in Japan would agree to dating a person of the same sex so easily, Seryou and Shino are just remarkably interesting and consistent. It's fun just seeing what happens between them because of what is and isn't said, and I wish I Tachibana-sensei would write a couple of shorts showing us what happened when the two of them cleared up all the little misunderstandings that were created. So yes, a nice, fluffy read that I REALLY like.
Seven Days has, quite recently, been licensed by June. (Rumoured to be just the first volume, probably because the press release lists only the first volume, to be released sometime this year. But I'm quite sure it's both - how does one license half of a series anyway?)
p.s. Most of online sites start off their description with "Bright and early one Monday morning...", but it must be at least 11am, based on the shadows! Yuzuru's "You're at school early today, Seryou" is some rarely seen sarcasm!
p.p.s. Starting tomorrow, I'll be posting translations to the drama CD, since that's not licensed.
