Manganews reports that a manga-adaptation for Tim Burton's The Night Before Christmas is being released. (Listing). If it's from Disney, shouldn't it be called a comic rather than a manga? I know that the only difference has probably been from a westerner's perspective (I've heard that the Japanese call Western cartoons 'anime' as well) - we even differentiate Korean comics as 'manwha'...but still...why are we changing the term in Western countries?
